At IGI, Delhi
Finally I reached IGI airport at 12:10 am, 5 November. My both bothers made countless efforts and several trips to the local market to arrange my daily used items and packing the large bags.
My flight is at 4:00 am and after finishing the security and immigration check I have to wait for a couple of hours in the rest area till the announcement of the flight. I was traveling on Cathay Pacific on a business trip.

At Hong Kong Airport
I have a changing flight to catch and the waiting time is 5 hours. So, started exploring the airport lobby. The airport is really big with 80 gates (tunnel to the flight) and the best part is,its having smoking zones everywhere.
The airport is wifi enabled and I connected my laptop to surf the net. In between I was feeling hungry and try to get some food stuff. There is a huge food court on the roof and I saw most of the people are eating traditional food, means soups, salad, rice, noodles in a bowl. I prefer to go for the burger and coke. The bill was for 6$USD. Now, when I give a 20$USD, that vendor said that he cann't return the rest of the money in USD and want to return the equivalent Hong Kong $. His action forced to pay the bill by using my citibank creditcard.
Crossing the Pacific Ocean
Now, I have to sit for long hours as the plane is crossing pacific ocean and the duration is 11.5 hours. huh !!! its really long. But the best parting coming coon means, the boozing session. First I have a large whiskey followed by a beer. After that the dinner is served, and I am having 3 options, one is beef, second is sea-fish and the third is pasta. I picked pasta. After eating, its napping time so, I tried to sleep. But I was not able to sleep for long and waked up and tried to watched a movie on entertainment panel. In the mean time I saw, most of the other co-passengers are sleeping and the rest including me busy switching the channels.
The time passes on and after having breakfast we all set to land on LA (Los Angeles).
LA Airport
The flight landed in the LA airport at 12:45 pm. The first thing need to be done in the airport is to go for immigration checking. A form I-94 is already distributed and filled in the flight itself and that need to show before the immigration officer. He normally ask few question related to the purpose of visit, duration etc. Then I collected the luggage and catch a cab to the apartment in Downey, CA.
